ANUSHREE

Anushree was 1 year 7 months old when she first came for treatment in Bangalore. Her parents had consulted a hospital in Daralakatte, Mangalore and she was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma, they were referred to Narayana Nethralaya for further treatment. Her right eye was enucleated due to an advanced tumor. She received chemotherapy and focal lasers for her left eye. Tumors responded well to the treatment and subsided. There has been no tumor recurrence so far. She is now enjoying her schooling just like all other children of her age.
