AARVI AMBORE

Aarvi is a 4-year-old old girl with Bilateral Retinoblastoma. Parents noticed a white reflex in Aarvi's right eye when she was a year old. They took her to a nearby hospital. Doctors there referred them to HV Desai hospital. After initial diagnosis, it was confirmed as Bilateral Retinoblastoma. The doctor there started treatment with focal lasers and chemotherapy. She has received 12 cycles of chemotherapy, topotecan injections, and laser treatment for both eyes. When the tumor subsided Aarvi was on 2-3 months follow-ups. On their last visit, a recurrence was seen in her right eye. The doctor advised more cycles of chemotherapy and also focal lasers. By this time parents exhausted all their savings and couldn't afford further treatment. So Iksha started funding the child's further treatment.
