Abhishek was 3 years old when he was referred to Narayana Nethralaya in February 2016. He was diagnosed with bilateral Retinoblastoma.His left eye was enucleated on the 1st of June 2016 after receiving 6 cycles of chemo. He received 6 more chemos and now is on 6 months follow-up schedule to ensure cancer doesn't resurface. Custom made Ocular Prosthetic eye was done for the left eye and he is now a happy school-going kid.
