ADVIK BHAGWAN WADHEKAR
Month and Year of Birth : September 2025

Advik Bhagwan Wadhekar was four months old when his parents noticed alternating squinting in both eyes. They consulted a local ophthalmologist and were later referred to a specialist, who diagnosed him with retinoblastoma in his right eye. The doctor referred them to the Centre for Sight Hospital for further treatment.
Advik was advised to undergo six cycles of chemotherapy, followed by further assessment and focal therapy. His parents depend on agriculture for their livelihood and have struggled to afford the cost of his treatment.
Advik is now one year old and is undergoing chemotherapy. He has shown a 50–60% response to treatment so far. An MRI after chemotherapy will help doctors determine the next course of treatment.
