ALIAYANA KHANUM

Aliyana is diagnosed with Unilateral Retinoblastoma at the age of 10. Her older brother noticed something white in her right eye while playing in the evening and told her parents. Parents took their child to the nearby hospital in Bangalore the next day, and from there they were referred to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Bangalore. It surprised the doctor there to see a white reflex at this age and advised the parents to visit Prabha eye hospital, Bangalore for further evaluation and treatment. The diagnosis was confirmed as Retinoblastoma with necessary tests. Aliayana is undergoing chemotherapy and focal therapy.
