DHARAMVEER SINGH

Dharamveer is 8 year old from Gujarat. His parents noticed that the child has some vision problems when he was 2 years old. They immediately consulted a local doctor who referred them to an ophthalmologist in Rajkot. After the initial diagnosis, the child had been referred to the Centre for Sight, Hyderabad for further diagnosis. MRI was done and he was diagnosed with Bilateral Retinoblastoma. His right eye had been enucleated post 6 cycles of chemotherapy and laser. He was tumor-free for 8 months. Unfortunately, small grains of tumor re-surfaced and he then received 3 more cycles of chemotherapy and Topotecan injection. He has good left eye vision and recovering well.
