Her parents noticed a white reflex in her eyes when she was 5 months. She was diagnosed with Bilateral Retinoblastoma in one of the eye hospitals in Mumbai and was referred to Centre for Sight, Hyderabad for treatment. She so far has received 6 cycles of Chemotherapy, 8 shots of Cryotherapy, and laser treatment to treat the tumors in both eyes. The tumors have regressed and she is receiving laser treatment every month to ensure eradication of the cancer cells.
