Hemanth was diagnosed with Unilateral Retinoblastoma when he was around 2 years old. His right eye was enucleated immediately in order to prevent further spreading of cancer and he received chemotherapy post enucleation. his visit to the hospital has gone down to once a year. He is now an active and energetic child who is enjoying his schooling. Iksha is now supporting his education too.
