JAYAPRAKASH

Jayaprakash was only 4 months old when he was referred to Narayana Nethralaya,Bangalore from Tamilnadu, He was diagnosed with bilateral Retinoblastoma. He received 6 cycles of chemotherapy and a focal laser every 3 weeks for 8 months and the tumor subsided. He was regularly monitored to ensure there is no relapse of the tumor. Unfortunately, new tumor grains were diagnosed in Sept 2017 and he started receiving topotecan inj to control tumor grains. Now he is on 6 months follow-up.
