LIKITH M
Month and Year of Birth: June 2022

Likith is a 6-year-old boy from Nalgonda, Telangana. His parents noticed a slight squint when he was one month old, and a small white reflex was observed in his eye when he was five months old. Initially, his parents did not consider it a serious concern, as the white spot was very small. The family was also going through difficult circumstances during this period, and unfortunately, Likith's father passed away.
Likith's mother noticed that the white spot had become much more prominent and took him to an eye hospital in Ramanthapur, Telangana. She subsequently brought him to CFS for further investigation and treatment. The necessary investigations, including an MRI, confirmed a diagnosis of **bilateral retinoblastoma**. There is no family history of retinoblastoma.
Likith is currently in a critical condition with tumour recurrence. His eyeball was removed about 4 months ago, with a custom prosthetic eye, and he has completed 18 chemotherapy cycles and is currently receiving the 19th cycle. Likith is attending UKG, the education is supported by Iksha Foundation.
