His parents first noticed a white reflection in his eye when he was around 8 months old. He was subsequently diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma at Narayana Nethralaya. Due to a poor response to treatment, his right eye was surgically removed (enucleation), and he completed nine cycles of chemotherapy at MSH/NN.

He is now 5 years old, and his left eye is currently stable. He is receiving regular follow-up care at HORUS Hospital, with EUA advised every four months for the next 12 months to monitor for any signs of recurrence.
